We continue to assure our members that they are not alone in this cancer fighting journey. We are here with them especially more so during the festive Christmas period as we usher in the new year.

December is always associated with the Season of Giving gifting of presents and gatherings with loved ones. It is a month of festive festivity and holiday spirits. While most people are surrounded by loved ones and family members, there are also many amongst us who are battling certain challenges and celebrating this festive alone people who are celebrating it alone.

The journey of cancer fighting is a long and lonely one. We are privileged to be here to journey with them to provide care and support to them and families during this darkest hour of their lives to journey with them.

At 365 Cancer Prevention Society, we take the initiative to launch a campaign where we bless our members with small electrical appliances. The purpose of this campaign is to touch base with our members as the pandemic restrictions have rendered us many months of limited home visitations we have not seen them for quite some time due to the covid-19 restrictions. We continue to assure our members that they are not alone in this cancer fighting journey. We are here with them especially more so during the festive Christmas period as we usher in the new year.

This campaign was made possible by the many helping hands we are graced with. We are grateful for every small appliance donated to us through the Shop for Cause campaign. In addition, we also had help from many volunteers from all walks of life who helped from the wrapping of the small appliances presents to the delivery of them to the identified members who need them. it. It has been a challenging two weeks from the start to the end of the campaign with constant changes related to logistics but it was all worth it to see the smiles of appreciation on our members’ faces when they greeted us and received the presents from us with joy.

On behalf of the 365CPS Care Leaders team, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year blessed with Good Health and Happiness!

Take care and be well! 😊
