My name is Florence Foo.
I survived breast cancer twice – once in 1995, and once more in 2012 – and a stroke in 2015. I am currently managing post-stroke conditions and a pancreatic growth. Despite that, with the support from 365CPS, amongst other organisations, I’ve been able to move on with my life well.
365CPS has organised many activities that I’ve taken part in which have given me much happiness and joy. In 2020, I participated in the Nagomi Art Class, a creative workshop that allowed me to explore my love for drawing, and the Relaxation exercise Health Talk that taught me practical techniques to relax my body and mind.
Despite the challenging times presented by COVID-19, I am grateful for the Zoom programmes that were arranged to help us improve our wellbeing. It was much needed during the Circuit Breaker period. Additionally, throughout my membership, the 365CPS Staff Members have shown immeasurable moral support and kindness that has significantly contributed to my wellness.
To my fellow members of 365CPS and other cancer survivors, happy to see you are actively keeping yourselves mentally and physically well. I wish all a happy and meaningful life. Let’s keep going and make the best out of our lives!
