During this global pandemic of COVID-19, many changes occurred. A fixed mindset does not necessarily mean an all-bad thing. In fact, it helps us to maintain a sense of self-worth and stability under normal circumstances.

However, our lifestyle and activities undergo drastic changes where many of our regular routines were disrupted. It may not be as helpful for us to become fixated on our habitual ways of thinking and doing as it may impede counterfactual thinking and personal development. It may have negative impact on our psychological well-being and sense of happiness.
