I am Rozana Binte Jupri, and I am 56 years old this year. When I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I felt like my whole life ended.
But I have always been a very strong and independent person, so I said to myself that I can do this on my own. I went for chemotherapy, and it was very painful. The first few rounds side effects was very painful for me that I think I cannot take it anymore and wanted everything to end. This was when I told my sister that I need help.
We went online and look for organisations that could help and found 365 Cancer Prevention Society. When I reached out to them they were very welcoming and comforting. From the first session with the counsellor, Sarah, I go from being very depressed to being able to see how things are. Sarah helps me see that I am not alone in this, that I have the support of family too. With the tools provided to me, it helps me with changing my perspective on how I see things in a clear and new way. It helps me to be able to be more positive. I am so glad that I reach out to 365CPS, without their support, it will be a hard journey for me to go through by myself.
